GOOOOAAAALLL!!!!!

Savannah and Sydney had a great day of soccer today! They played at the same time, so I only got to see about 10 minutes of Savannah's game before going over to Syd's. Syd's team has been struggling with getting the ball in the net. Finally, today, we scored three goals! And Syd scored one of the goals! She was so excited. We put the names of the girls who score on our team ball, so she was excited to put another tally by her name. The rest of the team did great too! After the game Savannah couldn't wait to tell us how she had scored also! Of course we missed it...but were still excited for her! She says she does best when we are not there to watch! My soccer stars! They have the same uniforms this year!

First concert and first concert shirts!

So last May I got the crazy idea to take the girls to the Miley Cyrus concert. They both love music and sing all of the time. The tickets went on sale and it was a special deal, where the tickets were paperless and when you got to the concert, you had to show the exact credit card that bought them in order to get in. The prices were not crazy like the last time when she toured as Hannah Montana. So we bought the tickets for the September show. Last week was the concert and boy, has Miley Cyrus grown up. There was nothing Disney or Hannah Montana about the concert. She sang only her songs and I thought she might include something from her alter ego...but she didn't. She put on a good show and kept the audience dancing and singing. I even got up with Syd and danced to Party in the USA. This was the girls first concert and we didn't have the best seats... but the girls didn't care. They could see her and hear her and that was good enough for them. I have a cute little video of Syd dancing to Hoedown, Throwdown, but the screaming is so loud that it kind of ruins the video. So if I figure out a way to post it without the noise I will do that soon!
