Today we visited with Rob's aunt Viola. She lives in New Jersey and I have never met her. We had fun hearing some family stories and catching up.

Honor Roll

We are proud parents of two girls that made the Honor Roll this semester. Both girls always do well in school, but getting their recognition made them very proud of themselves.

My view of summer vacation so far. These are few of the items I have been using so far during my time off.  I could have also put in a broom and vacuum because I have been cleaning up too!  Happy summer!

Education Can Get Messy...

...Yes it Can! The 5th graders at Savannah's school competed in the "Education Can get Messy" competition today! First they had to qualify by answering questions in the area of Math, Language Arts, Science and History. They had to take a test on that information and if they did well enough then they were put on teams to compete in the "Messy" part! There were competitions like musical pies where the person holding the pie had to pie themselves in the face. Other competitions were egg baseball, water races, and a chocolate covered marshmallow toss! The kids had loads of fun....and learned!

June Birthday Girls

There was a Big Birthday Party at the Berghorn's house this past weekend. We celebrated Savannah and Syd's birthdays with friends and family at our house and then we went to a park.

The parachute was a hit!
We played a fun game of kickball with the kids and adults!

We had a great time!
