Carpinteria

One of my most favorite places is Carpinteria! My family reunion is held here every summer. Words cannot often describe my experiences and feelings about this beach and reunion! These are some of my favorite shots from the beach. Sunsets, cousins, Syd in sunglasses, and tidepools! My very favorite is my brother holding his son up in the air on the tidepool rocks.

The second collage includes some shots with my nephew, George! It was so good to spend time with him this summer! My mom also made it into more pics this year!

Camping Trip #1 Rock Creek

We went camping at Rock Creek near Mammoth with my dad and stepmom the last weekend in July! It was strange weather, we had rain everyday and even a day with hail! The rain was okay though, it was in the triple digits back at home. Rob, the girls and my stepmom Kelly went fishing and had no luck. We enjoyed our quiet time and took time to go into Mammoth one day where the girls did a zip line and a rock climb.

14 Years ago today...

Rob and I were married 14 years ago today on a very hot day in Ridgecrest. It doesn't seem that long ago that I married my best friend and started this crazy journey that we are on! I love you Rob!

Where has the summer gone?

Where has the summer gone? I can't believe I have to go back to work so soon! Rob and the girls don't go back until after Labor Day! We didn't take any big trips this year, but we have been camping and have been on few little day trips around our area. One day, we went for a morning ride on the paddle boats on our lake!
